  • Parliamentary Studies

    The Diamond Open Access peer-reviewed scholarly journal Parliamentary Studies was established in 2004 and is published by the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania. Its purpose is to encourage studies in the fields of democratic governance, parliamentarism and political culture. The journal gathers political analysts, historians, sociologists, researchers in linguistics and law as well as authors within the discipline of political communication. The published articles are assigned DOIs (the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania is a member of CrossRef). This journal uses Open Journals Systems (OJS) software for management and publishing support.

  • Relevant Tomorrow

    The Diamond Open Access peer-reviewed scholarly journal Relevant Tomorrow was established in 2021 and is published by the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania. The journal covers several disciplines: media and information literacy, information environment security, communication (political communication) processes, digitisation and digital publishing, library science and bibliography, and methodology of information sciences. In order to achieve academic dialogue and interdisciplinary relations, the journal publishes not only research on the above-mentioned subjects but also articles in the fields of sociology, history, and political science. The published articles are assigned DOIs (the National Library is a member of CrossRef). This journal uses Open Journals Systems (OJS) software for management and publishing support.

  • Methodological Platform

    The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania carries out research and methodological activity as part of its statutory function of providing information services. Science management and transformation of issues regarding applied research require permanent information sharing, the representation of which calls for specialised publications. Methodological Platform is a place for methodological aids, seminars, conferences, and publications for the development of competences of information professionals. 

  • Documentary Heritage Research

    The Documentary Heritage Research account presents the results of research carried out by the National Library of Lithuania researchers on the history of the country's culture, society and political thought. These include catalogues, source publications, and collections of articles based on presentations at conferences, seminars and other scientific events. All publications on documentary heritage research are peer-reviewed by independent scholars and approved by the National Library Research Working Group.
