About the Journal
The preservation, actualization and integration of documentary cultural heritage into the European cultural heritage space is one of the priorities of the National Library of Lithuania, constituting an integral part of the targeted development of applied research on documentary heritage.
The publication of research and making it open access is an important way of disseminating research results to the public, enabling researchers from around the world to have free and easy access to the most recent research materials.
The Documentary Heritage Research account presents the results of research carried out by the National Library of Lithuania researchers on the history of the country's culture, society and political thought. These include catalogues, source publications, and collections of articles based on presentations at conferences, seminars and other scientific events. All publications on documentary heritage research are peer-reviewed by independent scholars and approved by the National Library Research Working Group.
