Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of political cinema, which is defined in the theory of contemporary cinema and visual media. Political cinema incorporates and creates a relationship between the image and the audience and transmits visual messages, which has an effect to the political socialization of the audience or its value system. Therefore created images have the influence on the development of the parliamentarism idea - political films represent the parliament and parliamentary figures and provide knowledge of principles of representative democracy and relation between electorate and parliamentarians.
