Author information and colophon of the article
Authors are asked to present the following information in English and Lithuanian together with the paper’s text: place of work and its address, occupational title, scientific degree and contact information (phone and e-mail address). It is indicated on the left of the first page. When the paper is published, the dates of its submission to the Editorial Board and of the final acceptance for publishing is indicated together with the publication’s title, its issue and publishing year and, on the last page, the date of the paper’s submission for publication.
Structure of the paper
The paper should begin with the author information (see above), summary in English and key words. The body of the paper should contain component parts requisite for a research work: introduction, indication of the research object and scope of previous research, research methods, results, conclusions or summing-up and references to sources and literature. The paper should end with a summary (after conclusions) with the indication of the title and the author’s name as well as key-words in English. The author information is linked to the database ORCID.
Submitted papers are evaluated according to the currency and originality of the research, level of author’s arguing, scholarly level of the language and conformance of sources to the paper’s subject.
The size of a paper of an article (including all elements of the text) should not exceed 1 author’s sheet (40,000 characters). The number of characters of the summary in a foreign language is limited to 2,000 characters and that of the summary in Lithuanian, to 600 characters. The size of papers of other types of publications is limited to 0.5 author’s sheet (20,000 characters). In exceptional cases, the Editorial Board may increase the indicators for the size of the text, in particular in case of a study.
The journal is published in English and Lithuanian. Papers in other languages are also accepted (the final decision shall be taken by the Editorial Board). Sources should be presented in the original language (in individual cases, translated into Lithuanian). Papers are required to contain summaries in English.
Requirements for texts
Authors are asked to submit 1 copy of the paper, signed by the author, in the Microsoft Word DOC format (main font Times New Roman, accented characters in the Font “Times Lt”, font size 12-pt, spacing 1.5 lines).
Submission of the paper
The author is required to register on the Website of the journal here. It will allow loading the paper. When registering, it is important to indicate the correct e-mail, at which the author will be notified about the reviewers’ final decision.
Illustrations, graphic material and maps should be of sufficient quality and clearly described with the indication of their authors and sources.
Sources and literature should be indicated after the main text by using the option “Insert Footnote” (font size 10-pt).
